The Local:
Haiku Poem
Eat, Sleep, Work and Play,
Randwick statue stays the same,
I have found my place.
The Resident:
The Worker:
Rap
Sleeping late, getting up early,
Leaving the house when my hair’s still curly.
Nine to five, feeling alive,
Hit the light rail, me and my mate Clive.
An hour a day, an hour for lunch,
Feels like I’ve been hit, by a hard punch.
Eating a meal at high cross park,
Devoured my bread, like a hungry shark,
Cant wait for my schooner at royal hotel,
This is the way, us workers rebel.
